Do you offer sharpening services for your chisels and plane irons?
While we don’t currently offer sharpening services, our Diamond Sharpening systems are chosen specifically to maintain the exceptional edges our tools arrive with. Each cutting tool is inspected for perfect factory edges before dispatch.
Can I get replacement parts for the Build-It System?

We offer two precision-engineered delivery solutions:
  • Standard Express Shipping (ÂŁ12.95): Via DHL/FedEx (10-15 days after dispatch)
  • Free Standard Shipping: For orders ÂŁ50+ via EMS (15-25 days after dispatch)
Both options include full tracking from our Lancaster workshop.
Why don’t you offer faster shipping options?
Like properly seasoning timber, some things shouldn’t be rushed. We refuse to compromise on our protective packaging standards—your bevel-edged chisels deserve proper preparation time. That said, 97% of orders dispatch same/next day.
How do you handle international customs fees?
We calculate all potential duties/taxes at checkout—no surprise fees. While we can’t control clearance times, we provide complete documentation to streamline the process.

What’s your return policy?
If any tool doesn’t meet your workshop standards:
  • 15-day return window from delivery date
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

We inspect every tool before dispatch, but stand behind our products if expectations aren’t met.
Do your tools come with manufacturer warranties?
Most premium tools (Ashley Iles, INCRA, etc.) include manufacturer warranties—specific terms are listed with each product. We handle all warranty claims as your direct liaison with the makers.
